This is the first time I experience having lecture via video. It is a tough day as we have to attend 3 lessons (Intech, TOD and Productivity quality management in interior design practice); luckily the coffee prevents me from dozing off during classes.

We are going to see Sakura. wooohooooo.....
In the Sunday morning, we set off from our hostel to see the cherry blossom. We are so lucky that we come during spring therefore we can celebrate Sakura festival (樱花节）together with the local.

We went Dalian Modern Museum this morning. It is a museum that reviews the history and culture of Dalian, I believe that it is an efficient way for us to understand Dalian.
What attract me the most is the glass stair that locate at the centre lobby. 
The living lifestyle that people in Dalian in the past.

After visiting the museum, we headed to 棒棰岛. It is located at Tiger Beach Park(老虎滩）
Later, we travelled to a shopping centre at Yuguang Jie.

After attending Intech lecture this morning, we went for lunch as usual and set out to the library for group discussion. One of the ideas that we came out with is using the metaphor of the bird’s nest construction. We felt that bird’s nest accumulate time and effort while constructing which is similar to the ideology of study process. 
Later, we were having site visit to 大连软件园腾飞园区(Ascendas IT industrial park). This company is set up by both local and Singaporean.
On road, we experience their local amazing driving skill. It is really fast by traveling one place to another.

Jonathan launched the project brief this morning. The task given is to transform the mezzanine of the library to a place that encourages both study and social needs. In addition, we have to consider of being green initiative.

In the morning, my friends and I went to a restaurant next to the school for our breakfast. The meal costs us only 9 Yuan which is approximately $2.
Later, we went for our gems that lecture by Amant Sun. We are going to learn about the history, culture and economic of Dalian city. In this lecture, we get to know about the places for tourists' attraction. Temptation of exploring around the city can’t wait any longer after listening to the places he had mentioned.

After the ceremony we went to a shopping centre to stock up our basic needs. After having kfc for our dinner, we went back to school. Lopez's partner introduced a place for recreation. It serve like the morberly in Singapore Polytechnic. It is a place where most students loiter around during free time. Below is the acting that performed by the students in DPU.
We gathered at the canteen that located just beside our hostel for breakfast. Perhaps I’m still not getting use to the foods or it was really flavorless. However, I still finished up the food as I was extremely hungry this morning.

(Library)After meal, we headed to the library to make our library card and attended a short briefing that held by a local professor. Later, we went to School of Art and Design to look at our new classroom. Each of us was assigned with a local partner. My partner introduced and brought me around the campus therefore I can have a better idea of how the school functions.
